complimentary water bottles wood ceilings stocked mini fridge
i stayed in a superior double room. the room included a mini fridge stocked with two complimentary water bottles upon my arrival. i found the exposed wood ceilings very beautiful (it gave the room a special touch).
The hotel has a key system that felt a bit old. I had to leave my key at the front desk each time i left the premises.

little light cramped breakfast area
the staff were helpful (especially with directions).
my room, a beautiful double or twin room, faced an interior courtyard and got little natural light. the breakfast area was quite cramped. the tables were close together, so moving around was difficult.

EXCELLENT experience near the Luxembourg Gardens!
friendly staff soft robes nespresso machine
I appreciated the friendly, hospitable staff who answered questions about public transportation. Soft robes in the room were available, and the nespresso machine proved great for mornings. Borrowing an umbrella on rainy days WAS very useful.
